The Aboitiz Foundation, the social development arm of the Aboitiz Group, and Hedcor, Inc. extended microfinance loan assistance to Barangay Alapang Multipurpose Cooperative (BALMUCO) in La Trinidad, Benguet. The assistance is intended for the repairs and improvements of the coop’s water system business that will benefit 836 water consumers. Aboitiz Foundation Manager for Enterprise Development Jennifer Sabianan and Hedcor Assistant Vice President Dan Rey Faelnar signed the MOA for the microfinance loan with BALMUCO Chairperson Leticia Alupias. Alupias thanked the Aboitiz Foundation and Hedcor for their trust, adding that the loan will enable BALMUCO to expand and improve their service to existing and potential customers.
