The Good Meat eyes presence in 300 supermarkets by end of 2022

The Good Meat targets to reach over 300 supermarket concessionaires and open more brick and mortar stores in 2022. This is in line with the goal of Pilmico Food Corporation (Pilmico), the Aboitiz Group’s food and agribusiness unit, to become closer to their consumers.

Currently, The Good Meat supplies a wide variety of fresh cuts, marinated pork, and ready-to-cook products in over 250 supermarkets. This includes Puregold, Robinsons Supermarket, Marketplace by Rustan’s, Merrymart, Shopwise, and Divimart in Greater Luzon.

As the country’s current situation is slowly easing into the new normal, consumers can now move more freely. In line with this, The Good Meat is slated to set foot in more supermarkets this 2022. Last March, its ready-to-cook products were made available in Landmark supermarket, while The Good Meat opened a new brick-and-mortar branch in Libis, Quezon City, in addition to its San Juan store.

Along with The Good Meat’s supermarket expansion, Pilmico assures its customers they deliver quality meat products processed in their triple A-accredited meat cutting facility, Tarlac Meatmasters. The facility implements heightened food safety protocols and biosecurity measures that ensures The Good Meat provides safe and premium quality meats.

“As The Good Meat aspires to be the leading pork supplier in the Philippines, we’ve been putting our efforts into bringing our products closer to our consumers. We make sure to follow only the highest food safety standards in our technologically advanced facilities so that more Filipinos can enjoy quality meats,” said Hendel P. Cabral, Vice President of Farm Sales and Meat Operations of Pilmico.

Aside from supermarkets, The Good Meat is also available in various e-commerce platforms including its website, thegoodmeat.ph, Shopee, Lazada, Food Panda,  Grab, Pick A Roo, and MetroMart. They offer convenient payment methods and next-day delivery options suited to fit the needs of every customer. #
