SURSECO 1 chooses AboitizPower’s Cleanergy

In an effort to push for a more balanced energy supply portfolio, Surigao del Sur 1 Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SURSECO 1) recently signed with AboitizPower subsidiary, Hedcor Bukidnon, 2 megawatts (MW) of clean and renewable energy supply for its customers in 2018.

SURSECO 1 and Hedcor signed an energy supply agreement on November 9, 2017 at the electric coop’s main office in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur.  SURSECO 1 General Manager Joceler Moralda represented the electric cooperative while Rolando Pacquiao, Hedcor’s Vice President for operations and maintenance, represented the power generation company.

“We take pride in adding AboitizPower’s Cleanergy to our energy supply mix. Like them, we also believe in balance. We are confident that by having a reliable partner like AboitizPower, we will continue to provide efficient electric service to our members-consumers, and to continue to support economic development in our franchise areas” said Joceler Moralda, General Manager of SURSECO 1.

SURSECO 1 is currently serving 138 barangays from the municipalities of Lingig, Bislig, Tagbina, Barobo, Hinatuan, Lianga, and San Agustin in the province of Surigao del Sur.
