Sharing a gift of hope to Marawi

As Marawi City gets back on its feet, Hedcor Bukidnon, a subsidiary of Aboitiz Power Corporation, shares in giving hope to those who were displaced by the armed conflict. Through the Department of Health (DOH), Hedcor handed over a recycled container shipping van converted to a health clinic for the locals of Marawi.

Dr. Dave A. Mendoza, Cluster head of DOH for Research Epidemiology Surveillance & Disaster Response Unit R10 said, “the health clinic van is utilized as a depot for dispensing medicines to medical aid workers then to the families who are prescribed to take medicines.”

This container van was used last year in shipping the electro-mechanical parts of the hydropower turbines for the 68.8-MW Manolo Fortich Hydropower Plant in the province of Bukidnon.
