    Republic Cement answers Bulacan LGU’s call for food aid

    Norzagaray, Bulacan – Republic Cement was the first to answer the call of Norzagaray, Bulacan Mayor Alfredo Germar for support by way of rice donations for its most affected constituents. Despite challenges in rice supply, Republic delivered 200 50kg sacks of rice to the Norzagaray LGU last March 27, 2020.

    Since the implementation of the Luzon Enhanced Community Quarantine, Republic Cement has continuously supported its North Cluster communities by way of providing close to 700 daily food packs and water for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to AFP & PNP Checkpoints, N-95 masks for barangay tanods, and medicines and vitamins for its host communities. Throughout the country, Republic is also doing the same for its host communities across its 6 plants in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Aside from rice and food assistance, Republic has also been donating facemasks and faceshields, disinfectant products and soap, as well as nebulizers to its host communities.

    As of this writing, there are 28 COVID-19 positive cases and 12 deaths in the province of Bulacan.
