Quality meat at your doorstep during lockdown with Pilmico’s ‘The Good Meat’

Quality meat at your doorstep during lockdown with Pilmico’s ‘The Good Meat’

Pilmico, the integrated agribusiness and food company of Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc., has a solution to avoid possible Covid-19 exposure amid the continuous surge of COVID-19 cases, while still being able to shop for quality meat during lockdown — that is, through efficient and fast delivery right at your doorstep.

With the implementation of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in Metro Manila and nearby provinces such as Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal this week (March 29 to April 4), Filipinos are encouraged to stay home except for urgent and essential matters, making it a challenge for the public to perform even the simplest task of doing grocery shopping and securing food for the family.

Fortunately, businesses have adapted to the new normal by providing efficient online delivery services that cater directly to the needs of Filipino consumers, such as The Good Meat brand, avoiding the dreaded long queues in crowded stores and supermarkets.

Since The Good Meat launched its online shops, thegoodmeat.ph and Lazada flagship store in June last year, The Good Meat has provided its customers in the National Capital Region a safe and convenient online shopping experience in ordering quality meats and baking essentials like eggs and variety of flour, all delivered directly at their doorsteps.

“We have easily transitioned our business model to adapt to the new normal. Guided by our core value of innovation, being abreast with technology gave us the leverage to bring our top quality products in the convenience and safety of our customers’ households,” said Pilmico Vice President for Farm Sales and Meat Business Hendel P. Cabral.

Customers can expect next-day delivery and options for cash-on-delivery or cashless payment. The Good Meat looks to expand its services to more Filipinos as it plans to open an online store in Shopee and other online marketplaces within the next few months.

Meanwhile, in provinces under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) such as Tarlac and Pangasinan, customers have lesser restrictions and more flexibility to go out. These customers can visit supermarkets and see fresh and quality meats and other food staples for themselves. The Good Meat will also be available in select Robinsons Supermarket branches in Pangasinan by April, allowing customers to choose from its wide variety of pork and beef meats, both fresh cuts and marinated, as well as its ready-to-cook and heat-n-serve products for busy customers looking for faster options.

The Good Meat is equipped to supply customers both in online shopping and buying in person at supermarkets, and is always looking for relevant solutions in order to bring everything good to its customers’ tables, especially during these uncertain times.  #
