LBC seals partnership with PERA HUB as sub-agent of Western Union

LBC Express, Inc. has officially partnered with PERA HUB, the retail brand of PETNET, Inc. as it signed a partnership agreement with the latter in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

LBC outlets will offer payout services for transactions sent via Western Union® services in all of its over 1,400 locations nationwide, thus providing more convenience to consumers.

PETNET President Lorenzo T. Ocampo, Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc. (AEV) Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sabin M. Aboitiz, and LBC President & COO Miguel Camahort signed the contract.

“Staying true to LBC’s overall vision and thrust for Q4 2016, we are proud to announce this partnership with one of the most respected and trusted names in the industry,” shares Camahort.

“We are excited to have LBC on-board. This will definitely open up new opportunities for both businesses with regard to the remittance industry,” said Ocampo.

PERA HUB, the retail brand of PETNET (which is majority owned by AEV), is currently the largest agent network of Western Union in the Philippines.

Having Western Union® services available in LBC branches nationwide is aligned with our plans of expanding our network footprint in the country and making our services more accessible to consumers,” commented Jeffrey Navarro, Western Union Country Director.
