The GoDigital Pilipinas and TESDA partnership is poised to bring about a positive transformation at the national and individual levels, enriching the lives of Filipinos and contributing significantly to the country’s digital progress.

In a significant endeavor to foster digital literacy and skills enhancement, GoDigital Pilipinas (GDP) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) have formally inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) aimed at elevating the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) capabilities of Filipinos.

The recent MOA signing ceremony was held at the TESDA Central Office. Signatories of the MOA were Armani Mikhail A. Alcayaga, Executive Director of GoDigital Pilipinas, and Suharto T. Mangudadatu, Secretary of TESDA, representing their respective organizations.

This partnership between GoDigital Pilipinas and TESDA signifies a significant stride towards enhancing the digital literacy and skills of Filipinos. GoDigital Pilipinas stands as a leading organization steadfastly committed to empowering Filipinos through digitalization and digital upskilling, while TESDA holds a pivotal role as a government agency responsible for delivering top-notch technical education and skills development.

Through this strategic alliance, GoDigital Pilipinas and TESDA aspire to fortify the ICT competencies of Filipinos through the implementation of training programs and initiatives that align with the digital transformation objectives of the Philippines. Furthermore, their goal is to bridge the skills gap within the ICT industry and raise awareness about the paramount importance of digital skills training and development.

The agreement formalizes the cooperation between GDP and TESDA to devise and implement pertinent and effective training programs and initiatives. GoDigital Pilipinas will contribute technical expertise to shape curricula reflecting contemporary trends and emerging skills and technologies related to ICT.

In addition to this, GDP will introduce Enterprise-Based Training (EBT) programs and Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) to bridge the gap between the supply of skilled workers and the industry’s demand for proficient labor. They are also committed to offering mentorship, internships, and employment opportunities to TESDA graduates and trainees of the training programs.

Both GoDigital Pilipinas and TESDA have expressed their enthusiasm for this collaboration, underscoring the critical role of ICT skills in today’s digital landscape and their shared dedication to equipping Filipinos with these essential competencies.

The GoDigital Pilipinas Movement is convened by PSAC-Digital Infrastructure Sector, led by Henry Aguda together with other corporate digital transformation champions Dennis Anthony Uy, Al Panlilio, Ernest Cu, and Ramon Jocson.
