Aboitiz team members dash to victory at Friendship Games 2018

You might think of sixty (60) seconds as a short time, but it was long enough for 172 Aboitiz team members to step up their game and compete in this year’s Aboitiz Friendship Games. Held last March 10, Saturday at Treston International College in Bonifacio Global City, the Aboitiz team members from 11 Aboitiz business units raced against the ticking clock and battled it out in ten (10) exciting “Minute To Win It”-inspired challenges. A long-standing company event, the annual Aboitiz Friendship creates a fun and stimulating environment where team leaders and members alike engage in friendly competition and enjoy the camaraderie and sportsmanship. Rooted in the Aboitiz core value of teamwork, the games are a venue to apply a multi-disciplinary approach to achieving goals by working independently while demonstrating cooperation and mutual respect.

“The Aboitiz Friendship Games allows us to get to know each other better and bond over what is common among us: our passion to do our very best and our desire for advancing business and communities. Anything is possible when working as a team, and greater things can only happen when we put our minds and hearts together,” said Erramon I. Aboitiz, Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer who was part of the winning Red Team.
