Aboitiz team member-volunteers made this year’s Aboitiz Christmas Outreach more special by helping and teaching children from various communities how to create Christmas lanterns (parols). About 600 children from Taguig and Cebu Cities took home these personalized parols during the fun parol-making activity. “These parols symbolize both the spirit of Christmas and the spirit of volunteerism. We hope to put a smile on the faces of children as they bring home a parol,” said Erramon Aboitiz, Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer.

The Aboitiz Christmas Outreach has become an annual tradition for Aboitiz team members to give back and bring simple joy to children during Christmas. Led by the AboitizFoundation, Aboitiz Group HR, and the Christmas Outreach Committee, team members initiate fundraising activities such as Trivia Night, Give-A-Gift, Bingo, Love in a Shoebox, among others, to prepare for the actual children’s party.
