Aboitiz gives Christmas treats to Taguig children

Aboitiz team member volunteers trooped to Cayetano Sports Complex in Taguig City a few days before Christmas to bring cheer to nearly  300 kids in the area. Armed with gift bags and Noche Buena packages and some wicked dance moves, the ‘ates and kuyas’ of Aboitiz spent a fun-filled day with the children as part of the annual Aboitiz Christmas Outreach. “We wish that these fun experiences will be part of your happy Christmas memories, on which you can look back fondly someday,” Aboitiz Foundation First Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Maribeth Marasigan said. Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano, who graced the occasion reminded the kids of the value of loving their parents in this season of giving: “Upang maipakita ang pagpapasalamat sa Aboitiz sa mga regalong inyong natanggap, yakapin ninyo ang inyong mga magulang pagbalik sa inyong mga bahay at sabihin na mahal ninyo sila (To show gratitude to the Aboitiz Group for the gifts that you received, hug your parents when you go back to your homes and tell them you love them).” The Aboitiz Christmas Outreach is annual tradition that highlights the value of responsibility and giving back. Aboitiz team members initiate activities such as Trivia Night, Music Night for a Cause, Market Day, among others, to raise funds for this activity.#
