Aboitiz Foundation supports new small-scale organizations in Mindanao

As part of its efforts to magnify its reach and help more people, the Aboitiz Foundation, the social development arm of the Aboitiz Foundation, is expanding its enterprise development program in other major cities in Mindanao by supporting new organized groups in their livelihood activities.

 

Last September 2 and 4, the Aboitiz Foundation granted P2.2 million worth of loan packages to its new partner organizations namely Entre-Workers Multipurpose Cooperative, Iligan Wood and Bamboo Manufacturers (ILWOBAMA) and Mikro and Hindang Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative in Iligan City, Association of Differently-Abled Persons (ADAP) Multipurpose Cooperative in Davao City and Mapaang Multipurpose Cooperative in Maco, Compostela Valley.

 

Aside from providing microfinance packages for capital enhancement, the Aboitiz Foundation also provides assistance to partner organizations in the form of trainings and seminars to ensure that they gain the necessary skills in making their projects successful and sustainable.
