Aboitiz Foundation receives top DepEd award in Cebu

The Aboitiz Foundation was recently recognized as Top Education Stakeholder and Benefactor by the Department of Education – Division of Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu for its unwavering support and invaluable contribution towards the realization of the division’s educational goals. The award was received by Aboitiz Foundation Project Officer Ricardo Llego during the DepEd Stakeholders’  Summit held at the Waterfront Hotel in Lapu-Lapu City last December 13. The Aboitiz Foundation has been a staunch supporter of Philippine education reform, believing education is where the Group can make the biggest impact. The Foundation’s most important goal is to achieve universal public education by establishing more Aboitiz BetterWorld schools that promise a better learning environment. This, in turn, supports the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, specifically on Quality Education (ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all).
