Aboitiz Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the Aboitiz Group has turned over cash donations and  N95 masks to the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) Medical Foundation after a fire ravaged the hospital last May 16.

“On behalf of the PGH Medical Foundation, we are extending our sincerest gratitude to the Aboitiz Foundation for their generosity and kind assistance. This is a huge help as we go  back to operations,” Vic Zoleta, PGH Medical Foundation Administrative Officer said.

Aboitiz Foundation President and COO Maribeth Marasigan said the heroic acts of the medical front liners who ensured the safety of dozens who evacuated the facility are an inspiration.

“We commend the heroic acts of the PGH personnel who saved the 35 babies amidst the ongoing fire. These inspired us to deliver an immediate response to PGH Medical Foundation’s call for donation.  In these trying times we need each other to surpass the challenges brought by pandemic, calamities and other incidents.,” she said. #
