    Leadership training for frontline leaders. Seventy-two frontline leaders at the Aboitiz Construction, Inc.’s Taganito High Pressure Acid Leach project site in Claver, Surigao del Norte underwent a Supervisory and Frontline Leadership course from Feb 23 to March 2 as part of the company’s “Bugsay” (which means ‘to paddle’ in Bisaya) philosophy. The training covered maximizing performance management tools, coaching through constructive feedback, change management, and managing conflicts. “We believe that good leadership is key in achieving our goals, both in the office and in the project sites.  Our leadership beliefs and practices are anchored on our core values of responsibility, integrity, teamwork, innovation, and execution excellence, “ said Nina Ylagan-Pedro, Aboitiz Construction’s Vice President for Human Resources.
