Aboitiz Construction Donates 2,000 Doses of Moderna Vaccines to Parañaque City
Aboitiz Construction recently donated 2,000 doses of Moderna vaccines to the City Government of Parañaque in support of the nationwide efforts to provide booster shots and ensure the health and safety of Filipinos as the country continues to open up.
The partnership was formally sealed in a ceremonial turnover led by the External Relations and Reputation Management teams of Aboitiz Construction, Paranaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez and Dr. Jefferson Pagsisihan, Director of Ospital ng Parañaque (OSPAR).
Mayor Olivarez underlined the importance of ensuring a vaccinated population as the country resumes its reopening efforts. “These vaccines will be a big help towards ensuring the optimum safety of our citizens. As we go back to normal, we should still prioritize our health, “ the mayor said.
According to Dr. Pagsisihan, the vaccines that were donated will help in the mobile vaccination program which caters to citizens of specific barangays and private subdivisions in Parañaque.
Anton Mari Perdices, Director, President, and Chairman of Aboitiz Construction, reiterated the company’s promise to bettering the lives of the communities they serve. “Now that we are really getting back to normal, it is still important to look after the needs of the communities in terms of the health aspect. As we practice our core value of responsibility, Aboitiz Construction will remain a trusted partner of the communities in ensuring the health and safety of many Filipinos,” he said.
True to its commitment to build a better future and help communities achieve stronger immunity against COVID-19, Aboitiz Construction donated 3,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines to the local government units of Parañaque City, province of Surigao del Norte, and Balamban, Cebu last year. #
