Veterinary experts from Aboitiz-owned integrated food and agribusiness unit Pilmico has offered free online and live consultations while sharing useful information on animal care through a series of free webinars.
Dubbed Maxime Talks and Usapang Pagmamanok, which are both aired via Facebook, discuss dogs and gamefowl nutrition and care, respectively. According to experts, quality nutrition is key to maximizing the full growth potential of pets and gamefowls alike.
The webinars take on topics such as animal diseases and prevention, technical tips for effective feeding, among others.
Maxime Talks, which has been running since August 2020, is hosted by Dr. Jose Mari Castro (Doc Jomar), a seasoned veterinarian with almost 20 years of experience here and abroad. He is currently a mainstay in the Consult a Vet program, aired in Edge TV Philippines.
“Dog foods should have complete and balanced nutrients, vitamins, and minerals for optimum health. Special formulation of high quality ingredients that are palatable to dogs, that aid in providing them the nutrition they need to lead a long and happy life,” shared Doc Jomar.
According to him, quality dog food is an important factor that can contribute to proper growth of dogs. He also highlighted the significance of proper nutrition in arming pets against diseases and how it boosts pets’ immunity.
