Therma Mobile provides aid to fire-stricken Navotas community

To provide immediate assistance to affected families following a recent fire incident in Navotas City, AboitizPower subsidiary Therma Mobile, Inc. (TMO) donated cooking equipment and hygiene kits to its host community in Sitio Puting Bato, Barangay NBBS-Proper.

TMO, in partnership with the Brgy. NBBS-Proper Office and the City Social Welfare and Development Office of Navotas, distributed the relief items to around 107 displaced families in the area. They are now settling in an evacuation area in the city, while some were given temporary shelter by families and neighbors.

The cooking equipment will ensure that the residents will be able to eat fresh and healthy meals, while the hygiene kits will provide additional protection from diseases.

Brgy. Captain Elvis Desabille expressed his appreciation citing TMO’s immediate response after the said incident.

“We’re giving our wholehearted thanks to Therma Mobile for the help you provided to our residents affected by the fire. We appreciate your immediate action to give relief to us,” he said.

TMO owns and operates four floating power barges at the Navotas Fishport Complex in Navotas City with a 242-megawatt combined capacity. With its operational flexibility for fast plant start-ups, TMO provides immediate response to the energy needs of Luzon. #
