Conflict of Interest

The Aboitiz Group is committed to the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct. We have adopted a Policy on Conflict of Interest to guide our directors, officers, team leaders, and team members in avoiding situations where personal interests may conflict with the best interests of the Group.

Protecting the Group’s Interests

We act in the best interests of the Aboitiz Group and its stakeholders, promoting an ethical corporate culture and safeguarding corporate property and proprietary information.

Disclosure and Transparency

We encourage the disclosure of any relationships, actions, or transactions that may cause or appear to cause a conflict of interest.

Avoiding Conflicts

Directors must abstain from or inhibit themselves from any Board discussion or decision that affects or relates to their personal, business, or professional interests.

Additional Director Responsibilities

AEV directors are prohibited from engaging in any business that competes with or is antagonistic to the Group. They must also notify the Board, through the Corporate Secretary, before accepting any directorship outside the Aboitiz Group during their term.
